Week 24: Pine Nuts!

Week 24 Summary: The numbers have been run through the end of Week 24. Standings, Leaders, and team pages are current. Six Lazyman teams managed to exceed 400 points. The Full-Year contest seems to be somewhat certain while the 2nd Half contest has a little more possibility for things to change heading to the last week of the season. Both contests are headlined by Werp’s Crew in first and CAB’s Coolers in second.

Grab Some Pine Nuts! took top honors by scoring 448 points and to move up 10 slots in the 2nd Half standings. The Pine Nuts (Sabastopol, CA) were led by Mike Clevinger (61), JD Martinez (50), Spencer Strider (42), Bryce Harper (40), and five others who tallied 30 or more points. Marc, congrats on the outstanding week!

Cracking the top three for the second week in a row are the Limpid Jets of Love from Battle Ground, WA. The Jets posted 438 points behind Clevinger, Zac Gallen (43), Strider, and Nick Castellanos (48). Three others were north of 30 points. The Jets moved into 6th place in the Full-Year and 10th in the Second-Half. Derek, keep it going!

Taking 3rd on the past week is Beef and Broccoli from Cleveland, OH, with 430 points. B&B also had Clevinger and Strider, while Michael Wacha chipped in with 42 points and three others went for more than 30. B&B moved into 9th place in the Second-Half, 44 points out of prize territory. Matt, great week!

Honorable mention goes to Werp’s Crew (429), Arrow’s Buenos Huevos (423), and Bellzano (419). In the Full-Year, Werp’s Crew holds a commanding lead over CAB’s Coolers in the standings. The real battle is for 7th place with four teams within 26 points of each other. In the Second-Half, Werp’s Crew is 58 points ahead of the Coolers, while the Passion Warriors are 10 points behind CAB. Good luck everyone!
