Week 23: Coolers Heat Up

Week 23 Summary: Standings, Leaders, and team pages are current through the end of Week 23. Two more weeks! That Second Half crown is going to come down to the wire.

CAB’s Coolers get the headlines for Week 23 by piling up 419 points. An ace in Brandon Woodruff (59), solid pitching, and timely hitting brought the club from Mendocino into 2nd place in the Full Year contest and 3rd in the Second Half, only 15 points behind the leader. Charles, great week!

Finishing the week with the silver and bronze medals are the Limpid Jets of Love and Fungoed Martians, scoring 406 and 403 respectively. Crash Davis would be proud! The Jets moved into 10th in the Full Year and and 14th in the Half. The Martians climbed into a tie for 7th and into 11th. Both teams are from Battle Ground, WA. Both teams featured Juan Soto and his big tally of 53 points and a few players that scored over 30. And, both teams are owned by the same person. Derek, congratulations on the fabulous week and the potential to earn some prizes.

Werp’s Crew was the other team to crack 400 points with 402, building up a 100 point cushion in the Full Year contest and taking over 1st in the Second Half, by a tight three points. Good luck to all!
