Week 2: CABs Coolers Get Hot

Update (4/21): Numbers have been run through the games on Saturday, 4/20. A few official MLB scoring changes have impacted Lazyman point totals in the first two weeks. Check the Scoring Changes page to view.

Update (4/15): Welcome to Kevin and the Belmont Bums to the 2024 Lazyman season. Kevin suffered a serious injury the day before rosters were due. He had his roster mostly completed. I am allowing the Bums to join, for fun. He is not paying the entry fee and is not eligible for prizes. He needs something to do during his lengthy recovery – what better than fantasy Lazyman baseball? There are few players that the Bums selected that could have impacted exclusive players, but they will not. The Bums selected Mitch Keller and Mauricio Dubon, who are exclusive players. They will remain as exclusive players as published at the beginning of the season even though they are on the Bums roster. In addition, DJ LeMahieu, Carlos Estevez, and Emmet Sheehan were selected by the Bums, and appear on no other rosters. These players will not be exclusive players and are still free to trade for by other teams. Reiterating – the Belmont Bums will be tracked for points and in the standings for fun and to allow Kevin something to follow while recovering. Wish and pray for his speedy and full recovery.

Week 2 Summary: Holy Cow! What a week for Colton Cowser! Standings, Leaders, Transactions, and team pages are all current through the conclusion of Week 2, which saw the average Lazyman team score 360.4 points with four teams breaking the 400-point barrier. We are nearing 80% of owners who have submitted their entry fee. Thank you!

The gold medal goes to CAB’s Coolers from Ft. Bragg, CA. The Coolers scored 422 points and moved from 16th place into 3rd. Colton Cowser (51), Elly De La Cruz (40), and Vinnie Pasquantino (32) lead the hitting attack. Tyler Glasnow (32), Corbin Burnes (32), and Robert Suarez (30) paced the pitching staff.
