Week 3 Summary: Numbers have been run through the end of Week 3. The score for the average Lazyman team was 346.9 points on the week. Five transactions were made for Week 4. Over 85% of the teams have submitted their entry fee – thank you!
As the only team to break 400 points, the Spinners shot up the standings like “the Rubberband Man,” moving eight spots into 4th place. The team from Fortuna, CA, were led by hurlers Kutter Crawford (34), Luis Gill (34), George Kirby (34), and Casey Mize (32). Elly De La Cruz (37), Gunnar Henderson (33), and Julio Rodriguez (32) paced the hitters. Dan must be humming “I’ll Be Around” the top of the standings and “Could It Be I’m Falling in Love” with this team. Actually, I have no idea if Dan named the Spinners after the 60s/70s rhythm and blues group, but I have had fun singing the songs while typing this up. Dan – great week!
With 391 points, Snyde Remarcs of Cloverdale, CA, finished second in Week 3. The Remarcs moved from 10th in 6th place overall. The Remarcs had a quartet of players exceed 30 points – Ranger Suarez (48), Jordan Westburg (37), Luis Gil (34), and Kyle Glasnow (34). Tom – nice week.
There was a tie for 3rd most points. CAB’s Coolers (Ft. Bragg, CA) and Team Vizzini (Gainesville, CA) both put 390 points on the board. The Coolers maintained 3rd place overall and were led by Gil, Glasnow, Mize, De La Cruz, and Emmanuel Clase (34). Team Vizzini moved into 7th place and their top players included Mize, Westburg, Alec Bohm (32), and Craig Kimbrel (31). Charlie and Ken – well done.
